Dear Reader,
I think an introduction is in order, at least for good manners sake, don't you?
I am:
- A Baker
- Cake Decorator
- An aunt, nice, daughter, sister, and a wife
- 5 foot short and blonde - figuratively and literally
- A book worm
- An accidental comedian
- An avid Pinner (I pin to relax, but with purpose - check my boards out!)
- As graceful as a newborn giraffe
My favorite:
- Colour is Blue, closely followed by Black, Mint, Aqua, and White
- Movies are from the Disney Renaissance (1989-1999)
- Dramas are historical fiction, or from South Korea (I like reading subtitles and learning and new language
- Smell is some form of burning wood (I love the wood scented candles from Bath and Bodyworks)
- Dancers and singers are from the Big Band Era
- Thing to do is bury my nose in a book for hours on end
- Food is meat - particularly beef and bacon
I tend to:
- Quote odd sayings from movies out of no where, for no reason ("Because there are no cats in America and the streets are paved with cheese!".... get the point?)
- Fall over and or walk into things
- Screw up box-mixes when I make things at home (even though I work professionally in food service and hold two associate degrees in the field)
- Lose personal things, ALL.THE.TIME. (which means they are right in front of my nose)
I dream of:
- Being my own boss
- Having a sizeable savings account
- Seeing the Nutcracker Ballet
- Having my own little family and being a good housewife
- Speaking multiple languages
And now that you know these things you may call me Lauren..
